Society Club House:
Located at 4828 N.E. 33rd Avenue in Portland Oregon this former fire station was purchased from the City in 1960 with a formal mortgage-burning ceremony held in 1969.
Membership Meetings:
Dates: Second and fourth Tuesday of each month.
Times: 8pm
Place: In the society club house.
These meetings have a brief business sessin followed by an informative program relating to our hobby. Several members and dealers also offfer a broad selection of material for sale or trade. Refreshments are served, and parking is free.

Dates: Fourth Saturday of each month.
Time: 12:30pm.
Place: Society Club House.
This meeting is held in conjunction with the STAMP COLLECTORS CORNER. (see below).

Guests and visiting philatelists are always welcome at any of these meetings or at THE ROSE CITY STAMP FAIR or the STAMP COLLECTORS CORNER.
Rose City Stamp Fair:
On the second Saturday of each month between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM the O.S.S. clubhouse becomes a bourse for up to a dozen dealers, offering qualilty material for sale to the general public as well as club members. Coffee and light refreshments are served.
Stamp Collectors Corner:
Held at the clubhouse on the fourth Saturday of each month between 10 AM and 4 PM. A non-dealer bourse offers collectors an opportunity to trade or sell surplus material. Also activities can include programs, awards, door prizes, bid boards, etc in addition to the 12:30 pm membership meeting mentioned above. Coffee and light refreshments are served.
Peterson Philatelic Library:
Located in the O.S.S. Clubhouse this facility contains over 3,800 books, catalogs, and bound periodicals in addition to long runs of current philatelic journals. Organized and maintained under the direction of professional librarians, the Peterson Philiatelic Library ranks amont the finest in the country. It is open for use before and after regular meetings and during the Rose City Stamp Fair and Stamp Collectors Corner. Members in good standing are mpermitted to check out material for use at home. Books may also be loaned to members by mail.
Annual Auction:
Each October lots of both donated and consigned philatelic items are offered for sale at this increasingly popular public auction (the last one was quite good). Mail bids are accepted and have been recieved from nearly every state in the U.S. Income generated from this sale is dedicated to the O.S.S. Building Maintenance Fund.
The Album Page:
This award-winning official newsletter of the O.S.S. is mailed to all members ten times per year and regularly contains up to a dozen pages of club news, recent Peterson Library Additions, upcoming Philatelic events in the Northwest plus exclusive feature articles by experienced Philatelists and much more of interest to the collector. It is always franked with a commerative current at the time with the O.S.S. perfin on the stamp.
